President's Blog
It’s the season of purple altar cloths, wreaths, candles and a whole lot of waiting. It’s Advent after all and that means re-learning how to wait. Not only waiting for Christmas but waiting for the 2nd coming of Christ. It’s a profound journey of faith. Let’s be honest- few of us enjoy waiting.
My local Stop and Shop installed the self-checkout isles years ago but introduced last year individual scanners so you can scan your barcodes while you shop. This is to counter one process that they know we dislike- waiting.

I wrote this piece earlier today and like it a lot: Advent, Waiting and the Internet. Let me know how you and your family celebrate Advent and we’ll be sharing these later in the month. (mstpierre@morriscatholic.org)
